hugosecurity.net sets no cookies, loads no third-party scripts, fonts or images, and runs no analytics. There is no contact form, no chat and no newsletter. Nothing on this site identifies you to anyone but the server that delivers the page.

The web server records each request with a truncated IP address, the requested path, the time and the browser’s user-agent string. The logs are used only to keep the service running and to investigate abuse. They are rotated and deleted after 14 days. They are not shared with anyone.

When you write to us, we receive your address, the message and anything you attach. The mail is handled on infrastructure the company controls. It is deleted twelve months after the matter closes, unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.

If your matter concerns one of the group’s companies we forward it there and tell you that we have done so.

We process this data to answer the correspondence you initiate and to operate the website securely. Where the GDPR applies to you, you may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to its processing. Write to the address on the contact page; we answer within 30 days.
